The latest offering from Producer and DJ Jag Kiranmay, Port Five is a cool and composed tech-house mix that sweeps through classic grooves and moves from the genre as well as taking in interesting sounds from further afield. The title track has a real dynamic feel-good factor, tying in vocal runs with old-skool house leads, while ‘On Occasion’ – a more stripped-down progressive and techno-like contrast – delivers a real dark and absorbing bass-line, heading the groove and atmospheric breaks.
